Director of Operations

Comunidad, a vibrant and growing community development nonprofit based in Falls Church, is seeking a strategic and mission-driven Director of Operations to help lead and scale our impact. This senior leader will work closely with the Executive Director to implement strategic priorities, strengthen organizational systems, and ensure the effective delivery of programs that serve families and youth in the Seven Corners and Kingsley communities.

The Director of Operations will oversee day-to-day operations, support program execution, manage staff and budgets, and build infrastructure to support sustainable growth. This is a key leadership role for a seasoned professional who is passionate about community-driven work and ready to help guide a dynamic nonprofit through its next chapter.

A minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior leadership or operations role is required. Fluency in Spanish is essential.

Family and Youth Program Manager

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Family and Youth Program Manager to lead and expand our education and enrichment initiatives for children, teens, and their families.

The Family and Youth Program Manager will oversee the design, implementation, and evaluation of year-round youth and family programs, including afterschool enrichment, summer camps, parent engagement, and youth leadership development. This role requires strong program management skills, a commitment to community-centered practices, and the ability to build meaningful relationships with families, volunteers, and partners.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in youth development, education, or family services, including program design and staff supervision. Fluency in Spanish is required.

Executive Assistant

Join Comunidad, a community-rooted nonprofit working with families and youth in the Seven Corners and Kingsley neighborhoods of Falls Church. We are hiring a highly organized and proactive Executive Assistant to provide critical administrative support to our Executive Director and leadership team. This role includes managing calendars, coordinating meetings, supporting office operations, tracking expenses, updating the CRM, and handling day-to-day communications. The ideal candidate will be a skilled communicator, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Fluency in Spanish is preferred but not required. A minimum of 5 years of experience in an administrative or executive support role is highly desirable.
