Comunidad’s values are rooted in love. It is the expression of our love and affection that seat our values. These values are our greatest hopes and dreams for our friends, families, neighbors, and ourselves. When we live by these values, we are strengthening the fabric of Comunidad and making the world a better place.

• Human Dignity - Worthy of honor and respect. The human race is unlike any other living race on earth. We are tethered in our human-likeness. Our capacity to flourish and thrive is heightened when we honor and respect our inherent dignity.

• Integrity – Honesty and truth need to be at the heart of everything. In relationships, work, thoughts, intentions, and commitments, integrity is a character value that demands work. Our capacity to walk with integrity defines our character and commitments.

• Servant-leadership – At Comunidad, we lead with humility and call others into this type of sacrificial leadership. We believe the most transformative leaders are those willing to serve alongside their community in servant-leadership.

• Co-design – Comunidad prizes collaborative creativity. When everyone has the ability to demonstrate, develop, and hone their talents, abilities, and skills, it strengthens our connectivity, our confidence, and our capacity to do more.

• Communal – This requires proximity. Our work is a communal work. We believe we are better together. We are place-based, locally rooted, locally inspired, and require gathering in community to fortify our communal fabric.
